This is serious.
[Wren slammed the door to the bathroom cabinet before running to the box hidden under the bed in her room where she had the habit of hiding her supplies. She dragged the cardboard contraption out and was just beginning to gingerly take everything out when the door bell rang.
She skipped every other step on her trip down the stairs to get to the door, then had to fight the urge not to fling the wooden barrier between her and her friend wide open, cracking it open instead.]
Hey, Luke! C’mon in!
[The cheerful grin painted onto her face did nothing whatsoever to hide the seriousness felt by the teenage girl. There would be no way possible that the boy in blue would beat her out on this.]
[He waited for someone to open the door. After the noise of the bell sounded inside of the house, it didn’t take too long until damped rumbles could be heard from inside. Footsteps on the stairs, stuff being pushed aside to get the path free - Wren was on her way.
Now, should he really be doing that? Maybe her hair really was a lot more work to do and it all would end in a losing on his side. And the fact that he was a boy, a pure future gentleman only could make things worse if he was caught. An humilation forever. But after all… they were in a house. It was locked and there probably was no one who easily could break in it. There surely would be enough time to hide some embarrassing eviden
The door opened.]
Mhm. [He simply nodded, a serious expression plastered in his face. … Of course, it wasn’t that easy. At the sight of her, a small grin immediately sprung up on his features and there was no way he could hide it from the brunette. After he had entered he pulled the strap of his bag closer to his shoulder, making a gesture to Wren all of the stuff he needed was in there.] I have everything with me! Now, where should we be going?
